Research in Progress Meeting

The St George and Sutherland Clinical School Research in Progress Meetings, are a lunchtime research seminar open to researchers, students, UNSW and St George Hospital staff and any interested members of the public.

Our speakers are from the Centre for Inflammation, Centenary Institute, University of Technology Sydney, Faculty of Science, and will speak on the below topics:

Charlotte Alemao – Macrophage-microbiome interactions in cigarette smoke-induced experimental COPD

Dr Kurtis Budden – Diet influences COPD pathogenesis by regulating microbial metabolism

Dr SJ Shen – Looking into the future with intravital microscopy (IVM)
